Portrait Sessions
I’m not really interested in getting everyone to sit perfectly, look at the camera and smile. I’d much rather wait for the thing that happens right before or right after that moment. The look. The movement. The expression that feels completely familiar to the person standing next to me.
The setup is intentionally simple. A plain background, good light and very little else.
I want to take the animal out of context and remove as many distractions as possible. When there’s nowhere else for your eye to go, personality becomes the photograph.
I also don’t go into a session with a list of poses I need to get. Every animal is different, and I want to leave room for that. Some are calm. Some are curious. Some want absolutely nothing to do with me. That’s usually where the interesting stuff starts. Life moves pretty fast and I'm just trying to capture a little piece of it.

FAQ
Is it possible to have an in-home session?
Yes, I do offer in-home sessions for $600. Travel fees apply for addresses outside of Austin. This includes 1 Dog + 1 Persons and 6 High Res digital images. Each additional person is $15 and each additional dog is $100. Email us for more information: insert email
Can we have more than one dog in our shoot?
Absolutely! Our session prices include 1 dog. Additional dogs are $100/each (up to 2)
Can we have more than one person for an Animals & Human session?
Of course! Our Animals & Humans session price includes 1 person and 1 dog. Each additional person is $15/each and each additional dog is $100/each.
How long does it take to get my photo gallery after the session?
Your finished photos will be delivered in a gallery via email around two weeks from the date of your session.
Will you be able to choose the photos that are included in the package?
No. I don’t deliver large galleries because these sessions are built around creating a small number of meaningful images, not endless options. Part of my job is recognizing the moments that truly feel like your animal and preserving those in a way that feels timeless. The final images you receive are the ones that best tell that story.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
A 100% refund is available within 48hrs of purchase. A 50% refund is available until 48hrs before the shoot. If there are certain circumstances around your need to cancel we can discuss.
How do I pay?

Can we pick our shoot location?
Since I book multiple sessions for each pop up, we aren't able to offer custom shoot locations. We will choose a shoot location with the host to build out the studio. I do offer in-home sessions for an additional fee if you prefer to have your session in the privacy of your home or at a custom location. Email us for more information: insert email
